After two games in Euro 2012 Qualifying, Antonio Cassano proves himself as a best chosen striker in Azzuri squad. Against Faroe Island, Italy won 5-0 and netted one goal. He has begged two goals from two games. I think Cassano should be included in 2010 World Cup squad but Mr Lippi made mistakes. Since a long time ago, he always didn’t favour Cassano. Now Cesare Parandelli secured the service from Cassano and it’s worth it. Let’s wait when Italy taking on tougher opponent. Can they fight well?

Yeah! I love this goal from Switzerland player Xherdan Shaqiri. I don’t even know him. England won this game 3-1 but I reckon this goal is super goal. Just take a look how he found the space between England defender and unleashed powerful left foot shot. I like how he done that. This is also my favorite move, but I never get it done in field football. I always do it in futsal. Falcao also doing this move quickly, find the space and unleashed powerful shot at the top corner. Defender and goalkeeper normally didn’t expect that.

Italy came from behind with two goals to in second half to snatch a 2-1 away victory at Estonia in their Euro 2012 qualifier opener. Antonio Cassano was the inspirational player for Azzuri when he equalised on the hour mark before setting up Leonardo Bonucci three minutes later for Italy’s second goal. Cassano not included in Marcelo Lippi World Cup squad but now seem he is Cesare Parandelli choice.

AC Milan open their first game with convincing 4-0 win over Lecce. I would love to follow Milan this season because there are many legendary player in this team. Inzaghi, Seerdorf and Ronaldinho are the living legend. In this game Inzaghi scores again. Another thing that caught my attention was the Ronaldinho’s performance. Without him on the pitch, Milan will play a boring game. Combined with Seerdorf and Pirlo, Ronaldinho shows the flair and skills. His passes and touches was brilliant. Is Ronny returned to the old golden form. I would love to see more from him and from Milan as well.

And now, Zlatan Ibrahimovic come on board to join set of brilliant player in Milan. Ibra is the high skillful player. Just imagine how if he combine with the set of Ronny, Seerdorf, Pirlo and Pato. I hope the combination work well. And I hope no more hype like last time when he join Barca. He seems doesn’t fit into Barca line up. What an arrogant Barca.

It has been weird when it takes a long time to update in this blog. After this, instead of having football news this blog will be more personalized. It will updating my football activities, and whatever I like about football or in US they call it soccer. It doesn’t matter for me.

Yes. It has been very tough time to manage this blog. Or to keep updating this blog for the entire football news. My focus always on English Premier League, La Liga and also Serie A. Actually I am growing with Serie A as a weekly football entertainment. At that time I watch Maradona and Roberto Baggio on TV. And now EPL got most TV coverage and many players go to this league. However I still reckon La Liga is the best league in the world.

I still active in football and also futsal. However my knee injury always being a nightmare, reminding me from this game. This is GoFutebol meant to be actually; to share something about my love of football. I don’t really know football, but my passion makes me stay into this game.

Finally Spain reach first World Cup final by defeating Germany 1-0. Carles Puyol scored in the 73rd minute from a thundering header as Spain set up an all-European final with the Netherlands on Sunday at Soccer City in Johannesburg. For me, Uruguay should go instead of Holland.

Both countries has never won the World Cup before, and one will create history by becoming the first European nation to win a World Cup outside of Europe.

After impressive display in the demolition of England and Argentina, Germany look uninspired. Their game plan was stopped by cool and creative Spanish player. However beautiful game once again only conclude by a set piece goal.

For me it was very good game from both team. Germany is a young promising side. Whereas Spain is very consistent and experienced side.

FIFA World Cup second round match between Spain and Portugal was very impressive. Both team display good attacking football; Portugal with the quick break and Spain with excellent short passes. It was very difficult to get the ball from the Spain player, seem all passes are accurate and completed.

Both team comprises a lot of star player from the big club in Europe, I bet most of the fans will look on Cristiano Ronaldo. In 63 minutes, David Villa break the deadlock after quality move by Spain midfielder leading by Xavi, Iniesta and Alonso.

So, I satisfied with the match from both teams that I am not the fan. Only that in 89 minutes when Ricardo Costa penalized by fouling Capdevilla. Costa did not even touch him. But theatrical of football and dirty play come into this kind of situation make Costa red-carded.

In the game, referee who make the decision. Spain won 1-0 and conclude the beautiful game with the cheater. Shame on Capdevilla. Shame also to the officials and FIFA because 2010 World Cup which full of controversies.

The match between USA and Ghana is also interesting but I didn’t watch full match coverage. Ghana finally advanced to quarterfinal after beating USA 2-1 in extra time. Both team are eager and determine to win the game. Ghana show that they are the team that capable to give some flavor to the game.

First goal by Kevin Prince Boateng is also superb. In the early minutes he got the ball from the half line and sprint towards to beat USA defender and made hard and low shot where Howard have no chance to save it.

London Donovan penalty at 62 minutes manage to brought the match into extra time but again a superb goal by Asamoah Gyan denies USA hope to advance to the quarter.
